AAH! What... what is this?! This has to be some kind of crazy dream! Oh, why oh why did I eat it... I promised myself I'd never eat anything Hamel cooked ever again once I saw what he uses for ingredients!! Is this what giant earthworm does to you!?

Aaah... This place is horrible. It looks like the worst of the towns the mazoku have been through... but even those have survivors. I haven't seen anybody alive yet, just a bunch of empty buildings and an empty restaurant with some... weird glowing square things in it. But I think this could be for sending messages. So here it goes... please, please say I'm not alone...

North? Your guess is as good as mine. There should be maps available on the network here, and around the city. Just watch out for the crabs, and stay out of the water and the tunnels. And if you're looking for a place to set up for the night, Hotel Pennsylvania is a good bet. Theres a few people gathered here already, my family being one of the groups.

Crabs, yes.

And I don't know what a mazoku is, so they could be? Maybe? I haven't fought them myself, so all I know from word of mouth is that they're vicious little monsters that are apparently about as big as a large dog, who dislike the light, live mostly in the underground, and bite people. Apparently they can be killed, and it's recommended that you be armed, since being bitten is apparently a not so good plan.

... Are you sure you're okay by yourself? Just double checking.

Ahh. Yes, they do, don't they? We had demons back where I come from as well, though we have other names for them.. I was battling one just before I arrived here, in fact.

Okay, I'm glad you're not hurt! But if you need company, we can still come and get you! There's a lot of people gathered around the south end of the island. There's plenty of nice places to stay since they've all been abandoned, and the lady that runs the ramen shop is pretty helpful.
