Gaaah, it's so HOT lately! It never got this hot back home! Sure, it was sunny a lot and it got warm in the summer, but it was never so muggy and humid in the mountains. I feel like a used diaper! All I want to do is lie around the bookstore and have something cool to drink... but then I get all stove up from being inside and bleaaaahhh. At least I'm getting a lot of reading done. There are some really strange books in this world. Lots of them have beautiful pictures though, especially the ones that show other places in this world. The Amazon rainforest or the deserts in Egypt... beautiful places! (weird names, though)
I've found something kind of interesting in the kitchen of the apartment I sleep in. There's a big icebox that seems to work on its own without even having any ice in it... and the top part is very cold inside and lets out this lovely cool mist. If anybody's so hot they can't think straight, you should try standing in front of the icebox for a while. Oh! Also, I came up with an idea-- I took some of the juice I got in my rations and poured it into the little trays in the icebox, and it freezes into ice cubes. Still tastes like juice, but it's frozen and good. I might start freezing everything I get soon. Does anybody else have a better idea how to cool off?
Mr. Renji, Miss Minako, I have to thank you again for getting me out of that tree. I'll be sure to have an escort from now on... I really don't want THAT to happen again.
Mr. Wolf, when it cools off, let's have lunch!
